Every day with Karis is full of fun and laughs.
Yesterday, Karis was whining and pulling my leg. I said, "Holy Moly! Are you having a cow?" Karis replied, "Moo."
Today, she pointed to Michael and said/signed, "Daddy." Then, I said, "and that's uncle Joe." She said/signed, "Uncle Daddy," and pointed to Joe. So silly!
We are amazed how quickly she is learning language. Karis can speak about 26 words, and she can sign about 35.
The original purpose of my blog was to record my experiences and joys while being pregnant with IC. IC (interstitial cystitis) is a painful bladder syndrome that I was diagnosed with when I was 17 years old. It causes frequent urination, urgency, and discomfort when any toxins are in my bladder. Now that we have two precious little ones, I enjoy sharing adventures in parenting, in addition to IC issues. I hope that my blog will give other IC patients information and encouragement.
